Yesterday I visited the Batsford Arboretum in Moreton-in-the-Marsh. It is a photographer's paradise and even though we lugged a few lenses around, I used the 105mm macro almost all day. These delicate leaves were shrivelling on the branches and very hard to photograph, although perfect for a long term project I have just started.
The project is to use Adobe Capture to create a design element. I have limited the subject matter to "nature" but not anything in particular, it could be a scene, clouds, feather, flower, leaf, raindrops or anything in the natural world. The free Adobe Capture software allows you to create colour schemes, patterns, vector objects, Photoshop brushes and 'looks' for video.
I created a colour scheme as well as two patterns. The patterns are particularly addictive, especially if you have a leaning toward kaleidoscopes as I do. Last night I made about 20 different patterns.
