This month we are meeting again at beautiful North Curl Curl headland. It was a cold, windy day when we met in August, but it was beautiful, with several yellow-tailed black cockatoos feeding on the banksia seeds. We thought it was such a perfect spot that we decided to return for our September meeting. The bush has recently been back-burned so there is an interesting mix of charred vegetation, rock textures and ocean views. Join me for a lovely morning of art, photography and friendship.
This is a regular, free monthly group. To find out more, click HERE.
When - 10.00am until 12.00noon Friday 28th September 2018
Where - Meet at the end of Molong St North Curl Curl. I've chosen this spot instead of the beach carpark because it is free parking so better for those who don't have a Northern Beaches Council parking sticker. It also means we are at the top of the headland so if people are less mobile and can't manage steps, they don't have to.
What to bring - sketchbook, drawing/painting media, DSLR camera or phone, refreshments.
This is a headland walk, there are no cafe or toilet facilities along the walk, so if you would like a coffee or snack, BYO. The path quite easy but does have some steps. Toilets are located at the SLSC down at the beach.
If the weather is wet - we will meet at The Boatshed Cafe & Bar, Lower Level 11 Narrabeen Street, Narrabeen
